South Dakota

The South Dakota state flag features a sky-blue field with the state seal in the center, surrounded by a golden, serrated sun. The words "South Dakota" and "The Mount Rushmore State" are inscribed in gold letters above and below the sun and seal, respectively. The flag also has a golden fringe on the three sides other than the hoist.
